UPL on a Gecko hot tub: no configuration software

The pack has no low-level configuration software loaded, so it cannot run the spa. It usually appears after a pack or board replacement. The tub will not operate until it is programmed.

What to try, in order

  1. Turn the tub off at the breaker for a minute and back on.
  2. If the pack was just replaced, contact the supplier or installer. It needs the correct configuration loaded for your spa.
  3. Have the spa make, model, year, and the pack part number ready.

Can I clear UPL myself?

No. The pack needs software loaded with a programming tool. A power reset is the only thing to try first.

Why did UPL appear on my new pack?

Some replacement packs ship blank and have to be loaded with the setup that matches your spa's pumps and accessories.
