Hot tub filters

Find your filter by the part number on its end cap, or by measuring its length, outside diameter, and the hole or thread at each end. Replace pleated cartridges every 12 to 24 months, and keep a spare so one can dry while the other is in the tub.

We're still adding these to the store. Ask AskTub which part you need and we'll point you to it.

Questions

How do I know which hot tub filter I need?

Use the part number molded or printed on the end cap. If it is unreadable, measure the length between end caps, the outside diameter, and each end's hole size or thread, and match those.

How often should I replace my hot tub filter?

Every 12 to 24 months for most pleated cartridges, or sooner if the pleats are torn, flattened, or still dirty after a filter cleaner soak.

Are aftermarket filters as good as the original?

A cross-referenced cartridge with the same dimensions, end caps, and square footage will fit and filter the same. Compare pleat count and square footage, not just price.
