AskTub is a service of Generique, LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (“AskTub”, “we”, “us”). Generique, LLC is the business responsible for the personal information described here. We keep the minimum we need to give you answers that fit your hot tub.

What we collect

• Account: your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name.
• Your tub: the brand, model, size, sanitizer and address you save.
• Checks: water readings and error codes you submit. Test strip photos are sent to our AI provider to be read and are not stored by AskTub.
• Orders: what you buy, and your billing and shipping details. Card payments are handled by our payment processor; we never see your card number.
• Bid requests: the problem, your ZIP code, address and phone number.

Who sees it

• Pros invited to bid see the problem, your tub and your ZIP code only. Your address, phone and email go only to the pro you pick.
• Our parts supplier receives your name and shipping address to deliver an order.
• Service providers that run the site for us (hosting, email, payments, AI) process data on our behalf.
• We do not sell your personal information.

Your choices

Turn reminder emails off in your account at any time. To see, correct or delete your data, email [email protected]. California residents have the rights to know, delete and correct under the CCPA, and we will not treat you differently for using them.
