Terms of use

AskTub is a service of Generique, LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (“AskTub”, “we”, “us”). These terms are an agreement between you and Generique, LLC, and using asktub.com means you accept them.

General guidance, not professional advice

AskTub gives general information about hot tub water care, maintenance and repair. Readings taken from a photo can be wrong: check them against your strip before acting. Always follow your hot tub manufacturer's instructions and the label of any chemical you use, add one chemical at a time, and never mix chemicals.

Electrical, gas and structural work must be done by a licensed professional and to your local code. AskTub is not a substitute for one.

Parts

Parts are replacement parts compatible with the brands shown. AskTub is not affiliated with hot tub manufacturers. Check the part number against your old part before ordering.

Pro bids

Pros who bid through AskTub are independent businesses, not AskTub employees or agents. We check contractor licenses for electrical and equipment work, but the agreement for any job is between you and the pro you pick.

Your account

Keep your sign-in email secure and use AskTub for your own hot tubs or ones you look after. We may limit free checks to keep the service available to everyone.
