Hot tub jets

Most jet inserts unscrew or unclip from the front of the shell by hand. Take the old one out, measure the face diameter, note the style (directional, rotating, or pulsating) and any brand or part number on the back, then match it. Jets are brand and size specific, so compare the back of the insert as well as the face.

How do I remove a hot tub jet?

With the pumps off, turn the jet face counterclockwise past the closed position until it releases, then pull it out. Styles vary, so check your owner's manual if it resists.

Are hot tub jets universal?

No. Inserts are specific to the jet body brand and size. Match the diameter, the locking style, and the part number where you can.

Why did my jet stop spinning?

Grit or scale in the bearing, or a worn bearing. Soak the insert in a vinegar and water mix and rinse. If it still will not spin, replace the insert.
