Hr on a Gecko hot tub: internal hardware error

The pack has detected an internal hardware error. The spa may not run or heat. This needs a technician.

Most likely causes

What to try, in order

  1. Turn the tub off at the breaker for a minute, then back on.
  2. If Hr returns, leave the tub off if the weather allows.
  3. Record the pack model and serial number from the label.
  4. Contact a spa technician or your dealer.

What does Hr mean on a Gecko keypad?

It is a hardware error inside the control pack. It is not caused by water chemistry or the filter.

Can a power reset fix Hr?

Sometimes it clears a one-off glitch. If it comes back, the pack needs service.
