Hot tub air blowers

The air blower pushes air through the small bubbler jets in the seats and floor. Match a replacement by voltage (120V or 240V), horsepower, amp draw, and the plug that fits your control box. Fit a new check valve with it, because water backing into the blower is what usually kills them.

Questions

Is the blower the same as the air controls on the jets?

No. Air control knobs let the jets draw in air by suction. A blower is a separate motor that forces air through dedicated air injectors.

Why did my blower stop working?

Common causes are water in the motor from a failed check valve, worn motor brushes, or a blown fuse on the control board.

Can I use a bigger blower?

Stay close to the original horsepower and amps. A larger blower can overload the board's circuit and lift water out of the air channels.
