What accessories does a new hot tub owner need?
Test strips, a filter cleaner, a spare filter, and a skimmer net cover the basics. A cover lifter makes the tub much easier to use.
Can I use bath salts or oils in a hot tub?
Only products labeled for hot tubs. Ordinary bath oils, bubble bath, and soaps cause foam, clog filters, and upset the water balance.
