Most likely causes

What to try, in order
- Stay out and remove the cover.
- Check the temperature with a thermometer.
- Turn off power at the breaker and clean the filter.
- Restore power once the water has cooled, and shorten the filtration time in hot weather.
- If OH comes back, switch the tub off at the breaker and call your dealer or a technician.

Yes, for bathers. Water over 104°F can cause overheating and fainting. Stay out until it cools.
Why does it happen in summer?
Pump heat and a well-insulated cover can push the water past the set point when the air is hot.
